A Letter from Katie: Not sure how to start this post , as most of you know I keep to myself and don't really share a lot of personal information on here. A lot has happened over the last few months and it is starting to take its effects on me. In October I was having some pain in my neck and shoulder. I seen the doctor and was giving some anti~ inflammatory medications. It just wasn't getting better. I went to the doctor in early Feb . The doctor sent me for a MRI scan on Valentine's Day. That Saturday I got a call from my doctor asking me to come into the office she needed to talk to me. She explained my test results and set me up to have a biopsy done. On March 2, 2018 I was told I have Hodgkin's Lymphoma. March 14,2018 I started chemo treatment. I had my 4th treatment just yesterday. As you can imagine it has been a roller coaster ride of emotions. I want to thank my family and very close friends for supporting me through this fight.

As you can imagine things are getting a little rough . I am still working but have had to take time off for treatments and appointments. My Family has been extremely supportive not only to me but to many others that continue in fight to beat this, by stating a nonprofit organization called Katie's Cure.
